A South Korean mapping service has found a way to improve on Google Maps - add a dog.

A golden retriever has photobombed almost every photograph taken on the island of Jukdo by mapping service Daum.

The tiny island is only 734m long and 482m wide, and home to one family - and an intrepid canine.

Not a good island if you don't like dogs. Or don't like this particular dog. Photo credit: Daum

No matter where you go on Jukdo, there's the dog, clearly intrigued by the Daum photographer.

The photos appear to have been taken in 2010, but the relative obscurity of the island meant the dog had to wait until now to find internet fame.

Google is yet to map the island.

Follow the dog for yourself on Daum.
