A McDonald's store in Queensland has made it one step harder for students to ditch class to go for a Macca's run, by banning children who are wearing school uniform during school time.
The restaurant in Elanora, Gold Coast, put up signs in the windows, warning potential waggers to stay away, at the school's request.
"Attention school students," the signs read.
"Any student in school uniform will not be served between the hours of 9am - 3pm.
"This is as per your schools request (sic)."
According to local media, schools in the region have attendance rates significantly lower than the state average, potentially leading to the ban.
It's not yet known how the ban would affect older students or those heading out during their official break times.
Neither the McDonald's nor local school principals would comment on the ban when contacted by the Courier-Mail.
