Honolulu apartment fire: At least three dead

At least three people have been killed in an apartment fire in the Hawaiian capital of Honolulu.

Firefighters battled the blaze for four hours before finally bringing it under control.

A door-to-door search is taking place, which could take several hours to complete.

More than 100 firefighters worked to quell the blaze, which started on the 26th floor of the Marco Polo apartments. The fire spread to the 25th and 27th floors and through several units.

Five people were hospitalised with injuries. Others were treated at the scene.
