A Florida man has been jailed after he was caught with a cocaine-stuffed Cookie Monster doll.

Camus McNair, 39, was pulled over with an obscured licence plate and heavily tinted windows. When he rolled down his window the officer could smell marijuana inside the car.

A search of his vehicle turned up the soft toy, which the officer noticed was heavier than it should have been.

The doll was slit open, and two packages of a total of 314g of cocaine were found inside.

McNair was arrested and charged with trafficking in cocaine.

Cookie Monster is a much loved character on the long running US children's television show Sesame Street.
