Dozens killed in Congo landslide

At least 40 people have been killed in a landslide in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, Pacifique Keta, the vice governor of Ituri province says.

Seismic and volcanic activity have been responsible for a number of landslides in the region in recent years.

Some reports put the death toll as high as 60.

It comes after hundreds were killed in a landslide in Sierra Leone.
