A crowdfunding campaign has been set up to try to get Donald Trump off Twitter.
Former CIA agent Valerie Plame Wilson wants to raise enough money to buy the microblogging site, or at least a large stake of it, so she can ban the US President.
She has started a GoFundMe page, aiming to raise US$1 billion (NZ$1.38 billion).
"Twitter has ignored growing calls to enforce their own community standards and delete Trump's account," says Ms Wilson.
"The good news is we can make that decision for them. Twitter is a publicly traded company. Shares equal power. This GoFundMe will fund the purchase of a controlling interest in Twitter."

She says the approximate US$1 billion price tag is a "small price to pay to take away Trump's most powerful megaphone and prevent a horrific nuclear war".
So far the campaign has raised US$10,498 (NZ$14,500).
