Australian-held asylum seekers set to become US citizens

Around 50 refugees from Australia's offshore detention centres are set to become US citizens in the coming weeks.

The agreement is part of a resettlement deal that US President Donald Trump previously labelled "dumb" on Twitter, but the deal is set to be honoured.
