Shocking footage of a Chinese woman giving birth on the street while standing up has surfaced on social media.
The woman suddenly went into labour while she was out shopping for groceries in the southern Chinese city of Yunfu.
Onlookers helped the new mother with her child before an ambulance and nurses arrived to cut the umbilical cord and care for the child.
After giving birth the woman walked away in her blood stained dress with groceries in one hand and her newborn baby in the other.
According to local reports, there were no complications with the birth but the woman has not since checked herself or the baby into hospital.
