Six women, one 'Forever New' design at wedding

  • 20/09/2017

You could be forgiven for thinking the six women all wearing identical dresses at a Sydney wedding were the bridal party.

Sydney resident Debbie Speranza was attending a friend's wedding, when she discovered that six of the guests were all wearing the same 'Forever New' design.

The unfortunate incident spurred Ms Speranza to post on the company's Facebook page, asking them to set up a "bridal registry" to spare others from the experience.

"You really should start a bridal registry so that your customers can enquire whether anyone else has purchased one of your dresses for the same event," she suggested.

The post has gone viral, with nearly 30,000 likes and more than 7000 comments.

Some of the commenters sympathise with Debbie's situation, while others see the funny side.

Judging by her photo, Ms Speranza was also amused by the situation.

The dress is available on the 'Forever New' website for NZ$175. According to the description, it can "flatter and accentuate your figure", as well as "make an entrance-worthy appearance".
