Three skydivers have died in Queensland after they apparently collided mid-air and their chutes got tangled.
The aerial accident happened at Mission Beach, a popular skydiving spot about 140km south of Cairns.
The skydivers' bodies were found in the yard of a private residence, and nearby trees.
The dead are two men, believed to be instructors, and a woman.
The Cairns Post reports the jump was a 50th birthday present for the woman, from her family.
