Take note: this is what happens when you love your phone so much you're willing to jump in water fully clothed to retrieve it.
A young woman has been caught on camera reacting crazily after dropping her phone into Erhai Lake, a body of water in southwest China's Yunnan Province.
The footage shows her looking over the ledge of a viewing deck on the cruise she was on - presumably in the hopes of locating her phone - before being held back by a group of her friends.
She can be seen writhing to escape their grasp for more than a minute, clearly looking as though she was keen to jump into the lake below to get it back.
After some time filming the incident, the person behind the camera is then told to stop videoing by the woman's friends, who were consoling her.
According to local reports, the ship's crew tried to retrieve the phone, but weren't successful as the lake was seven metres deep at the point it was dropped.
