A woman whose father pre-paid for flowers to be delivered on her birthday every year after his death has written about the bittersweet emotions of receiving her final bouquet.
Tennessee student Bailey Sellers posted on Twitter she had been receiving flowers and a card every year since 2013.
"My dad passed away when I was 16 from cancer and before he died he pre-paid flowers so I could receive them every year on my birthday.
"Well this is my 21st birthday flowers and the last. Miss you so much daddy."
"Every year I looked forward to my birthday because I felt like he was still here with me but this is the last year I get them so it's so heartbreaking."
This year's card confirmed what she already knew she wouldn't be hearing from her father again.
"This is my last love letter to you until we meet again," he wrote.
"I do not want you to shed a tear for me my baby girl for I am in a better place."
"Be happy and live life to the fullest. I will still be with you through every milestone, just look around and there I will be."
Ms Sellers has posted images of her flowers on Twitter every year but this is the first time the post has been shared so widely.
