Amazing footage of a meteor burning through the night sky in Lapland, Finland is also lighting up online.
Caught on camera by a camper on Wednesday night, the meteor can be seen in the right of the video and has already been viewed over half-a-million times.
The footage comes courtesy of a live feed which was recording 24/7 to capture the Northern Lights, but ending up catching something even more impressive.
According to NASA's website, a 'meteor' actually refers to the light display from a 'meteoroid' burning up as it enters Earth's atmosphere.
Usually a small particle that has splintered from a comet or asteroid, a meteoroid only officially becomes a meteorite once it has actually survived impact with the ground.
No word yet whether this shooting star made landfall.
