A Chinese woman has been beaten in a vicious attack after leaving a bad review on an e-commerce website.

CCTV captured the shocking attack in the city of Zhengzhou in China's Henan Province.

Xiao Li can be seen waiting at the agreed upon delivery spot before the man appears and begins his attack, Asiawire reports.

She had earlier left a negative review on the online marketplace Taobao complaining that delivery was four days later than expected.

Known only as "Zhang", the man kicks her, slaps her face and pushes her to the ground as she tries to defend herself.

Authorities say Ms Li received several injuries in the attack including a concussion.

While she recovered in hospital Zhang messaged her saying he had travelled from Suzhou, over 800km away, to "teach her a lesson" and he could attack her again.

Police are now investigating but are yet to catch the attacker.
