A Toronto-based history professor has received a pleasant shock after his book received a boost in sales because it has a similar title to a new expose on the Donald Trump presidency.
The BBC reports Fire and Fury: The Allied Bombing of Germany, 1942-1945 suddenly topped Amazon bestseller lists on January 5, the same day Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House was released.

Author Randall Hansen said he was shocked by the boost and believes the sales are being driven partially by people buying the wrong book, but also a viral tweet of his drawing attention to the phenomenon.
"Incredibly, sales of my [book] have increased. Will I owe a larger royalty cheque to Bannon & Trump? If so, the irony will know no limits. #FireAndFury," he wrote.
However while the bump may be enough to amuse it appears to not be worth too much monetarily, Dr Hansen telling the BBC: "I don't think I'm going to buy a cottage on the back of this."
