A toddler who was snatched from right underneath her father's nose has been returned to her parents six hours later.
Shocking CCTV footage shows the moment two-year-old Shireen Fatima strayed only metres from her father's shop in Mumbai, west India.
She runs into the path of two men walking past. One of the men then hoists her over his shoulder and walks off, without so much as flinching.
Moments later the father realised she was missing, The Mirror reports.
"When we came outside to call her she was not there."
After checking surveillance and realising what had happened he called police, who found the child with 28-year-old Sandeep Parab, who was arrested.
It is not known whether the child was harmed, or what charges Parab faces.
