A passenger ferry has exploded at a popular tourist spot in Mexico - and cameras on the dockside caught the moment it happened.
Passengers were still disembarking when the vessel exploded, leaving a hole in the side of the hull right next to the passenger seating area.
Three Canadians and two American tourists are reported to be among the 25 injured, although amazingly it seems none of the injuries were fatal.
A statement from the ferry company said the cause was not yet known, although there may have been a build-up of gas aboard the boat.
It added that service to the nearby resort island of Cozumel would continue with other ferry companies that operate from the municipal dock.
Local media say, at the time, the dock was packed with tourists getting on and leaving the ferry.
