Young KFC fan gives hysterical interview at chicken shortage

A young KFC fan has been left devastated by Britain's chicken shortage, condemning the fast food franchise's workers for "just chilling" while would-be customers were left hungry.

More than half of the UK's 900 KFCs have been shut off as the company attempts to resolve a delivery issue with DHL that's preventing chicken getting to its stores.

And while many people have been left riled by the shortage, one young girl was particularly incensed - and she wasn't shy giving those responsible a piece of her mind.

"How sad are you that you didn't get your chicken today?" an ITV reporter asked.

"A little," the girl replied, before appearing to suddenly change her mind.

"Well, I don't look sad, but I really am disappointed. I'm mad at KFC. Look at them, they're just chillin', they're happy. Sorry, we're mad with them.

"We want to get in there, sit down, have some food, but we can't do that today. Sorry, but I'm mad at them."

DHL has since apologised "for any inconvenience", and said it was working to rectify operational issues that would solve the chicken shortage as soon as possible.
