An investigation is underway after the mysterious death of a US family at a luxury resort in Mexico.
Kevin Wayne Sharp, his wife, Amy Marie Sharp, son Sterling, 12, and daughter Adrianna, seven, were found deceased in the coastal town of Akumal.
Mexican news outlet Noticaribe has named the resort they were staying at as the Grand Bahia Principe.
Relatives say after the family failed to return to the US, they filed a missing person's report. The family reportedly had not been in contact since they arrived at the resort.
Local media reported there were "no signs of violence or struggle", and investigators were looking into whether food poisoning or a gas leak were responsible.
