Audio between a commercial plane and an air traffic controller has captured the moment two pilots encountered an unidentified flying object.
The incident occurred on February, when the pilot of a Lear Jet contacted air traffic control to ask about something they noticed in the sky, Metro reports.

The jet was 37,000 feet in the air above Arizona, US, when they noticed something whizzing above them in the sky.
"Was anyone above us that passed us, like, 30 seconds ago?" he asked Albuquerque Air Route Traffic Control Centre.
"It wasn't an airplane but it was... the path was going in the opposite direction," the controller replied.
His co-pilot then shot back "a UFO".
The controller then contacted an American Airlines flight just behind the jet to ask them if they had seen it too.
"Yeah something just passed over us, like a, don't know what it was, but it was at least 2-3000 feet above us fast right over the top of us," he replied.
"Don't know if it was a balloon or what not, but it has a big reflection several feet above us going the opposite direction."
Again somebody in the cockpit joked they may have witnessed a UFO.
Despite the sighting, it is currently still a mystery what the pilots noticed flying through the sky.
