Pigeons may not be the most cuddly of creatures but one woman clearly thinks otherwise.
Footage posted to Facebook from an overground train near Bethnal Green station, East London, shows a woman cradling a pigeon in her coat, the Daily Mail reported.
The bird appears quite comfortable and doesn't seem to have any desire to escape the warm embrace of the woman.
Some commentators found the sight a little bizarre.
"I thought it was a novelty hot water bottle," Rusell James said.
"Rats with wings,' Steve Cluton said.
"This is making me so happy, I've replayed it too many times," Andrea Grant said.
The woman's identity remains a mystery and it is not known if the bird is a pet or temporary friend.
