Donald Trump said he's too busy to get his wife, Melania a birthday present.
The first lady celebrated her 48th birthday on Thursday days after a state dinner.
The first couple hosted the French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte to the White House.
Speaking with Fox and Friends, The US President said, "...you know I'm very busy to be running out looking for presents. I got her a beautiful card and some beautiful flowers."
The President praised his spouse for her work organising the state dinner.
"She did a fantastic job with France"
The President and his wife drew attention once again to their frigid body language, with the first lady avoiding holding hands with her husband.
