Nigel Farage has been forced to deny that he dyed his hair blond to look like Donald Trump.
The Brexit campaigner was spotted in an interview with suspiciously golden hair before revealing it was bleached by the sun.
Mr Farage has repeatedly made his admiration of the controversial US president clear, even appearing on the campaign trail for him.
"That Obama creature, loathsome individual, who cannot stand our country, said we'd be back of the queue... what was interesting is that Trump said we would be in the front of the queue," he told talkRADIO after Mr Trump was elected in November 2016.
Several Twitter users pointed out the suspiciously golden locks when he was interviewed by Sky News.
"Nigel Farage on Sky News, appears to have become a bottle blonde in Trumpian tribute," one person said.
"I think Nigel Farage went to the hairdresser and asked for a Donald Trump," another wrote.
His team however insist it was a simple trick of the light and Mr Farage's hair remains in the usual style of side parted and grey.
Mr Farage himself told the Daily Mail the lighter hair was down to "a week in the sun in Cornwall".
