The Ohio Department of Transportation's traffic cameras caught a US driver reversing against oncoming traffic down a busy highway.
Officials say they were watching the area because of heavy traffic when they saw the SUV's suspicious manoeuvring.
Video shows the SUV going backwards on the highway onto the entrance ramp.
It then reverses down the ramp, cuts across traffic onto the road, continues reversing through traffic lights and into a parking lot.
Officials believe the SUV's transmission failed, leading to the driver's bizarre decision to drive the wrong way.
"Pro tip, if your vehicle isn't running properly, pull safely to the side of the road and call for assistance," the department says.
"Thankfully, no one was injured in this incident."
