An off-duty FBI agent has been filmed accidentally firing his pistol while energetically dancing at a Denver nightclub
The video shows the handgun falling from his pocket as he performs a backflip, and as he goes to pick it up - he accidentally fires it.
A bar patron's leg was hit with the weapon's projectile. He was taken to the nearest hospital, but luckily the injury was not serious.
The Guardian reports the agent was interviewed by police before being released to an FBI supervisor.
A spokeswoman from the FBI in Denver has declined to comment.
The agent's identity has remained private whilst investigations continue into how the incident occurred.
