Australian author Germaine Greer has hit out at Beyonce, saying her stage outfits are a "sexual display" and she needs to put her clothes back on.
"Someone like Beyonce, who I think is a fantastic musician, a beautiful voice - as true as a bell - why has she always got to be f**king naked and have her tits hanging out? Why?" she says in a new BBC documentary, The Sun reports.
"I'm not saying you have to keep your clothes on, but why is sexual display part of the job? I might as well ask that question to a barmaid who says she doesn't get any tips if she doesn't show cleavage."
She goes on to bag on female athletes, asking why they have to be near-naked as well and that "nakedness is a sign of submission and inequality".
This isn't the first time that she has come into the spotlight for criticising women; she also recently declared that people who undergo gender reassignment surgery are not actually women.
She made headlines last month for saying rapists shouldn't go to jail.
