Police have made one arrest following a shooting in downtown San Diego, California during the city's annual marathon.
The shooter opened fire from a parking building near the marathon's finish line.
Thousands of people were at the event, but there are currently no reports of casualties.
Local media reported a police officer at the scene was being treated for a gunshot wound that may have been self-inflicted.
Police say the suspect has been taken into custody and there is no further threat to the public.
