Some would say it was fate that brought two high school sweethearts together after 71 years apart.
Grace Lesinski saw a familiar name on a list of new residents at the New Berlin, Wisconsin, senior apartment complex where she lives.
"I saw the name and thought Oh it can't be. I mean, how many Ralph Wisniewskis are there?" She told CBS8.
Mrs Leninski knocked on his door and asked him if he was the Ralph Wisniewski who graduated from St. Mary Magdalen, and sure enough he was CBS8 reports.
They went to school together at south side Milwaukee Catholic School, and lived across the road from each other, and Mr Wisniewski was Mrs Leninskis first boyfriend and first kiss.
They went their separate ways after they graduated from grade school and both married and had children, but both were widowed.
Now all these years later they have been brought back together and Mr Wisniewski told CBS8 "It's difficult to explain, you just like it."
They both still wear their wedding rings from previous marriages, but enjoy each other's company.
