A Polish historian's cat has taken the internet by storm after interrupting an important TV interview with its head-climbing capers.
Jerzy Targalski sat down for his live chat with journalist Rudy Bouma for a political discussion on the forced removal of Małgorzata Gersdorf, the head of Poland's Supreme Court.
But the interview was disrupted by his cat, Lisio, which decided to climb on top of Mr Targalski's head and explore his ears.
Lisio waved its tail in front of his face and nuzzled his head, indifferent to the very serious conversation on the role of secret police.
The moment wasn't lost on Mr Bouma, who posted the clip to social media.
"The Polish historian and political scientist Jerzy Targalski remained completely unruffled during our interview when this happened," he wrote.
It's not the first time an interruption has gone viral.
In 2017, Professor Robert Kelly was speaking on BBC World about the serious issue of Korean politics in early March, when his toddler daughter strode exuberantly into the room. She was soon followed by her baby brother, who scooted through the doorway in a baby walker.
Their mother slid in after them, trying but failing to stay out of the view of the camera, and hurriedly swept the kids out of the room. After some painfully awkward seconds, apparently mortified Prof Kelly pushed on with his political analysis.
