A man has died in prison of electrocution after reportedly attaching cable to his nipples and genitals before plugging it into a power socket.
It's understood the 62-year-old convicted murderer, Egidius Schiffer, had attempted to perform an erotic act in a German prison that went terribly wrong, The Daily Mail reports.
Schiffer was found in his cell on Sunday morning (local time) with the live current still attached to his body parts. Police have said there is no reason to suspect foul play or suicide.

The cable Schiffer used in his attempt to pleasure himself was detached from his bedside lamp, a spokesperson for Bochum prison in northwest Germany said.
The prisoner was known as the 'Aachen Strangler', after being convicted of murdering five female hitchhikers between 1983 and 1990.
The victims of Schiffer were aged between 15 and 31. He infamously strangled them with rope before burying their bodies in rural areas.
