'My life is actually in danger': Florida man calls 911 from speeding car's bonnet

  • 01/07/2018

A Florida man made a desperate attempt to save his own life by calling 911 whilst clinging to the bonnet of a speeding car.

The black Mercedes Benz was filmed racing down a highway in South Florida with the man spread-eagled on the front of the vehicle.

Released audio from the 911 call reveals the man and the female driver were talking to each other during the incident.

In the call the man can be heard screaming "Stop the car! Stop the car! You're going too fast."

The incident was captured by another driver, Daniel Midah, who was driving parallel to the car.

He told CBS News that the strangest thing was the calmness between the driver and passenger.

The driver has since been arrested.
