A man who called North Carolina police on a black woman who was using a community pool has been left without a job following the racially fuelled incident.
Adam Bloom called 911 on Jazmine Abhulimen after he and another resident said they didn't recognise her.
In an audio recording of the call, he claimed she was not a resident of the area and refused to leave, before identifying himself as a chairman of the pool.

He said in the call that Ms Abhulimen was welcome to stay if she identified herself and where she lived in the community.
Mr Bloom claims he only called the police in as a neutral third party.
When the police arrived she handed over her key card and asked where it stipulated that she must show ID, with police determining no crime had been committed.
In a Facebook post, Ms Abulimen has called it a classic case of racial profiling.
The company Mr Bloom worked for, Sonoco Products, said in a statement that whilst the incident did not occur during work times, they do not align with any kind of discrimination.
Mr Bloom told NBC it was a mutual separation from the company.
He has also since resigned from his role as community pool chairman.
