In an adorable act of bravery, a golden retriever pup jumped in front of its owner to save her from a rattlesnake.
Arizona woman Paula Godwin posted on Facebook she was walking her dogs, Cooper and Todd, on June 29.
Todd jumped in front Ms Godwin to save her from stepping on a rattlesnake, injuring himself.
"My hero of a puppy Todd saved me. He jumped right in front of my leg were I surely would have got bit. This is what a hero looks like, please say a little prayer for my sweet hero," the post reads.
Todd was bitten on the face while Ms Godwin was uninjured. Todd is expected to make a full recovery.
