Sydney clothing brand markets hoodies to taggers

A Sydney clothing label has been slammed for designing a range of hoodies designed to hide the wearer's identity.

The brand is being marketed on Facebook to graffiti vandals who want to hide from the law. The hoodies come with a "built-in mask" to allow wearers to stay anonymous.

"BSP Street Hoodies are back! Perfect for an early morning spray, Always cover up and Remain Anonymous," the label says on Facebook.

However New South Wales Transport Minister Andrew Constance has called the fashion label pathetic.

"This is a rubbish promotion of a rubbish product and they should back off," he told 7 News.

"I've asked Sydney Trains' investigative team to look into the Facebook pages and the website and if appropriate take that matter up further."

Authorities are warning street artists that they will face the full wrath of the law if they get caught.
