An Ethiopian man has been arrested after failing to resurrect a corpse.
Getayawkal Ayele, a health worker by day, convinced the dead man's family he could bring people back to life by telling them the biblical story of Lazarus, reports BBC News.
The ceremony reportedly involved lying on top of the deceased, shouting his name and "Wake up!"
When it didn't work, the enraged family turned on Getayawkal, attacking the failed necromancer. Police arrived quickly to save him, but promptly charged him with abusing a dead body.

Coincidentally, the bizarre scene occurred in a town named Galilee - the same name as the Israeli region where Jesus Christ allegedly performed many of his miracles.
