A tradesman in Canada has been fired for driving through puddles to seemingly splash pedestrians on purpose.
Dashcam footage was uploaded to YouTube on Friday by user Saif Khan showing a van belonging to a contracting company driving down a residential street in Ottawa.

The driver can be seen veering to the side of the road in order to drive through some deep puddles, spraying three consecutive groups of unfortunate pedestrians.
Many were holding umbrellas, but they were no protection against the unexpected attack.
The driver seemed to go out of their way to hit the puddles and many speculated they were splashing people on purpose while on the job.
The van's owners, Black & McDonald, tweeted an apology to everyone who was impacted by the motorist's "unacceptable driving".
"We want to reassure the public that safety is our #1 priority," the company wrote.
"This individual is no longer employed with us."
Local police were alerted to the driver's behaviour, but the now-fired employee won't face any criminal charges, reports the Ottawa Citizen.
