Shooting at Florida gaming event captured on livestream

A gaming tournament in Jacksonville, Florida was broadcasting live when a gunman opened fire, killing at least three people and injuring 11 others, according to reports. 

Horrifying audio captured the first shots fired and screams of panic as the white male - who is one of the deceased - shot at Madden NFL video gamers inside the Chicago Pizza restaurant, according to CNN. 

Witnesses say that the shooter had just lost in the tournament, Daily Mail reported. 

A Jacksonville Sheriff's Office representative said there are no other suspects. 

"We have no outstanding suspects at this time. No outstanding suspects," Jacksonville Sheriff Mike Williams said at a news conference. 

"We have one suspect in this case. He is deceased at the scene."

The man was not identified and the sheriff would not comment on where the shooter was from.

At least three patients are being treated for injuries at Memorial Hosptial from the shooting, hospital spokesperson Peter Moberg said. 

All of the patients are understood to be in a stable condition, he said. 

One person linked to the shooting is receiving treatment at Baptist Medical Center, hospital spokesperson Cindy Hamilton said. 

It is a minor injury and they will be released soon, she said. 

As reports of a shooting came in, local police told people to stay away from the area. 

"Mass shooting at the Jacksonville Landing. Stay far away from the area. The area is not safe at this time. STAY AWAY #TheLandingMassShooting," the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office tweeted. 

The digital interactive company that produces the Madden video game issued a statement on Twitter. 

"This is a horrible situation, and our deepest sympathies go out to all involved," the company tweeted. 

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders told reporters that President Donald Trump has been briefed about the shooting. 

She added that they were monitoring the situation.
