A Perth woman has been photographed using her laptop whilst driving down a 100km/h stretch of freeway in Western Australia.

Concerned citizens flocked to social media to question how exactly the woman thought she could get away with such a conspicuous act.

The photo of the woman using her laptop whilst driving silver SUV down the Kiwana Freeway was posted to the Facebook page 'Perth - Have a Whinge'.

One user commented that it looked like she had done it before and seemed really comfortable.

Another said they hoped she would get a ticket for the act.

Western Australia currently penalises people using their cellphones while driving with a $400 fine and three demerit points - and if police catch her, she would likely receive the same.

Police have yet to comment on the matter.
