A man who survived the deadliest mass shooting in US history in Las Vegas last year was among the 12 killed in a California bar shooting yesterday.
Telemachus Orfanos died when a man opened fire at a university bar party in southern California.
Mr Orfanos had escaped death when a man opened fire on a Las Vegas concert from a hotel room, killing 58 people.
"I don't want prayers, I don't want thoughts, I want gun control," his mother told ABC News.
"It's particularly ironic that after surviving the worst mass shooting in modern history, he went on to be killed in his hometown," his father told the Ventura County Star.
A number of people who survived the Vegas attack in October last year have said they were at the bar earlier this week.
