Watch: US pastor conducts service while gracefully 'flying' on zip line

A church service has gone viral after a video shows the pastor conducting the Sunday service while flying on a zip line.

Pastor Bartholomew Orr of Brown Baptist Church in Mississippi gracefully descended towards the stage, asking his congregation if they were ready for Jesus to return.

"What better way to say He is coming back and are you ready for His return? It fits with the message I was preaching," Pastor Orr said.

The video has since garnered 2 million views on Facebook with mixed reactions from users.

One comment wrote: "I love the way the message was presented by Pastor Orr on Sunday. Awesome Touch! Keep up the great work Brown Baptise. If that message got to no one else, it got to me."

Another criticised him, saying, "You jeopardised your safety and the safety of all those you hovered over. What if the cables had broken? How would you have explained that? Not wise at all."

Pastor Orr, who has since been dubbed #TheFlyingPreacher, responded to public comments in a video, saying that he's glad people are being reached by the sermon.
