How many presents did you get for Christmas as a kid?

One Australian mother posted a video showing the huge haul of presents she's bought for her three kids, and it's a gathering mixed opinions online.

The Daily Mail reported that Kristy Nowak had been collecting the presents slowly over the last five months.

She stored them in 14 cupboards in her home and in the video showed them together almost filling an entire room.

The haul is estimated to have cost around NZD$3000.

The video has attracted comments from other mums online, some praising Ms Nowak, others criticising her for "spoiling' her children.

The Daily Mail said Ms Nowak initially posted the video in a private mums group on Facebook, where people were quick to tell her that they would be "saving some for birthdays," and that the haul was "ridiculous".

But others came to her defence, saying others just had their "knickers in a knot" and were "just jealous" of how organised Ms Nowak was.

Ms Nowak said "I LOATHE wrapping presents", prompting other mums to comment on the time it will take her to wrap them all.

But she also said that she would not be defending her decision to buy so many gifts.

"People assume my kids are uncaring or bratty because they have lots of presents. That makes no sense to me," she said.
