California police chase ends with fleeing driver breakdancing at gunpoint

A police chase in California has ended with the fleeing driver getting out of his car and breakdancing.

The unusual conclusion to the pursuit occurred after the driver fled from police in the city of Calabasas on Tuesday (local time).

The man didn't perform any dangerous evasive actions and at times drove at only 32km/h.

After taking police for a drive for roughly ten minutes, his car was eventually spun out by a police vehicle - an action referred to as a PIT manoeuvre.

The man then got out of his car, surrounded by armed officers, and began breakdancing.

A few moments later, after his brief dance show was captured on video by cameras in a helicopter above, he surrendered to officers and was taken into custody.
