A Florida mother has been arrested after allegedly leaving her five children under the age of six in a car which drinking at a bar.
Kristie Johnson was in a bar when her husband found the pair's children, aged three, five, 11 months and two 20-day-old babies, in the car outside the bar shortly after midnight on Wednesday.
He had earlier left his work and got home to find his family weren't there.
When he rang his wife, their five-year-old daughter picked up the phone and told him they were at McDonalds. But when he rang again later, the daughter told her father Kristie wasn't with them.
The father eventually found the car at the bar and blocked into a car park before ringing the police, reports 7News.
Police spoke to workers at the bar, who said the mother had had two vodkas and had been in the bar for about 30 minutes.
Kristie was later arrested and charged with five counts of child neglect. She remains in custody.
