The attacker then shoulder-charged the victim into the path of an oncoming bus, where she hit the vehicle's passenger doors.
The victim, who is in her sixties, sustained grazes and bruising to her ankles, shins and knees, and a cut to the top of her head. She also received a muscle injury to her shoulders.
The attacker quickly left the scene.
Police have released the footage nearly a year after the attack in a bid to track down the attacker. Detective Constable Samantha Edwards said the incident affected the victim emotionally.
"This was an unprovoked assault which could have had much more serious consequences.
"A number of enquiries have been undertaken to locate the person responsible. If you recognise this woman I would ask you to contact police immediately."
