Flintstone house a 'yaba dabba don't' from Californian officials

The owner of a modern day "Flintstone" house is locked in a legal stoush with Californian officials.

They claim the house is an "eyesore" and want parts of it pulled down.

They says her home is a public nuisance and that she failed to get permits for work she did on the property, including erecting her nearly 5 metre tall herd of dinosaurs.

But the owner, Flinstone fan Florence Fang, is fighting back, suing officials for discrimination.

Fang, an 85-year-old retired media mogul, says the sculptures are staying, including the aliens, towering dinosaurs and the meadow of stone mushrooms.
