Pornhub is interested in buying Tumblr following reports that Verizon is looking to sell the social networking site.
In an email to Buzzfeed News, Pornhub Vice President Corey Price confirmed that the popular porn-streaming platform is highly interested in acquiring Tumblr.

Tumblr became known for its plethora of accessible pornographic content, particularly for the LGBTQ community and young women.
The blogging platform banned adult content last December to the frustration of many users.
Price said that Tumblr's provocative NSFW edge would be restored if Pornhub were to go through with the sale.
Tumblr's current owner, Verizon, is reportedly looking to sell the blogging space after struggling to meet revenue targets.
"Tumblr was a safe haven for those who wanted to explore and express their sexuality," Price told Buzzfeed News.
"We've long been dismayed that such measures were taken to eradicate erotic communities on the platform."
Tumblr's porn prohibition caused uproar among users, receiving heavy criticism for its poor implementation of the ban. Departure from its erotic essence incited threats of mass user withdrawal.
Memes began circulating the internet, joking about Pornhub buying Tumblr to offer an "asylum" for displaced pornography users.
Price told Buzzfeed that Pornhub "are very much looking forward to one day restoring [Tumblr] to its former glory with NSFW content."
