A US woman has won the lottery jackpot using numbers she says came to her in a dream.

The 64-year-old Baltimore woman told officials she began using the numbers 4-8-11-21-27 in the lottery after she dreamed a man visited her and gave her the winning combination.
Fast forward 24 years, and her dream came true after she bought tickets for the May 2 Bonus Match 5 drawing.
Altogether she won a total of US$101,600 (NZ$152,897).
