A US woman was seen "playing chicken" with her three children when she drove her car straight at them, leading to the death of her 3-year-old-son, according to authorities.
A statement from Harris County District attorney Kim Ogg said Lexus Stagg could be seen driving towards her three children in CCTV footage near her home in home in Harris County, Texas, as they ran towards her vehicle.
The statement said Stagg's 3-year-old was hit by the car, as the other two children moved to avoid it.

The child had been caught in one of the SUV's tyres, and died of his injuries, the statement said.
"Cars aren't toys and playing chicken with your kids isn't a game," Ogg said.
Authorities on Thursday (local time) charged Stagg with criminally negligent homicide.
"Every parent has an obligation to protect their children, even from themselves," Ogg said.
