Video has captured the moment a dog chased off a bear that invaded a US man's back yard.
New Jersey man Mark Stinziano shared the clip on Facebook, which shows a bear wandering into his garden to eat from the bird feeder before the dog chases it away.

"My neighbour's dog is getting a steak dinner next time I see him. He is an awesome pup that comes to check on the kids from time to time. Now he is keeping them safe!" Stinziano wrote.
Commenters shared their shock at the scene, saying Riley's actions were admirable.
"It's like wild kingdom at your place tonight," one person said.
"Wow! That is one brave doggie. He's lucky the bear didn't retaliate," another wrote.
Others said the incident should never have happened as Stinziano should have known better than to have a bird feeder outside his house attracting bears.
"That's awesome about the dog but you're just asking for bear trouble with the bird feeders!"
