A gas explosion has destroyed a flat in South London, injuring four people.
Police were called to the scene in Tooting just after 7.30pm on Wednesday (NZT)
One elderly man has been taken to hospital. Three other people were treated on scene for minor injuries, according to Wandsworth Police.
The Gas Board is at the scene and the Health and Safety Executive will be notified.
